Four discs feature lessons explained by a trained Saxon Teacher utilizing a white board; students are walked through each lesson, practice, & problem set. Problem Sets are accessed individually, while Practice Sets are presented in one continuous video so students can quickly review the teacher's solutions after working the problems themselves. The fifth CD features step-by-step solutions to each test question. Students view the lessons while following along in the textbook, pausing to read certain sections on their own; example problems are designed to be worked alongside the teacher. This kit includes 5 CD-ROMs that will work on both Macs and PCs, but not TVs.

I am homeschooling my 11th grader over the summer in Algebra II because she had no room in her public school schedule to take it with the program she is in (Nursing VoTech). I got this because she was having issues without an "official lecture" and it worked wonders. She loves it and goes right about doing the work. It was easy to use for a non-computer person!

We have tried several other math series with teaching DVDs and this one is our favorite. After viewing the lesson with the teacher on the computer screen, my daughter does her homework. She then checks her answers. If she misses a problem, she can watch it worked step by step on the computer. EVERY problem is worked out step by step. This is great. I nearly failed Algebra in H.S. and I am working through the Algebra I in order to finish my college degree. I am amazed at how easy it is. Where was this when I was in school!

This product is my favorite homeschool purchase this year. I was just going to give up on Saxon math when I saw this and thought, I might as well try it. I'm VERY glad I did. It is an answer to prayers! FYI it works with the 2nd edition Saxon Algebra 2. That's what we are using.

This resource is worth its weight in gold. The student can rewind the teacher and replay if they need more understanding and every equation in the book is explained if they need it. Better than a teacher in the room and great practice for online college classes.

This is an awesome product. I am a home school mom and I was finding it harder to teach Algebra 2. My daughter was not getting the concepts of the problems with me helping her. I bought the DIVE CD, but it was not doing it for us. So I was thinking of hiring a tutor, when I came across SAXON TEACHER. I told myself it was cheaper than a tutor, so why not give it a try. After, we started using SAXON TEACHER, she started thriving and understanding concepts that she did not understand even in Algebra 1. I calculated the cost of the SAXON TEACHER to how many leasons and it cost about .58 cent per lesson. I am so pleased with this product, I can also use it with my other two children. This is a MUST for home schooling parents who need a little help with Algebra 2. It is voice-instructed with visuals. Extremely helpful.
