I used this math book for both of my kindergarteners, aged 4 and 6. They both have completely different learning styles, but they both LOVE this math book and have learned so much. This workbook makes math FUN, and that is so important for young children. I like the fact that the pictures are interesting and colorful, but not so colorful that they distract the child. I will be using this book again for my youngest when he is ready for kindergarten.

The only thing negative that I can think of is that the "teacher's manual" is extra. I am very pleased with the textbook. My 4 year old son is enjoying it and looks forward to our math work. The text gives a good introduction and reviews concepts without too much repetition. I am very pleased with the quality of the material and the service that I have received.

This is my favorite Math program for the younger grades. There is plenty of practice and new concepts are introduced in a very non-threatening way. Both of my children (total opposite learning styles) excelled with this program.

I have enjoyed teaching this material to my children. It gives extra ideas to help your child think through problems and gives hints about common problems that children encounter in math and how to remedy the situation. We have used the 1st grade level also and are currently using the 2nd grade level.
