This is a thorough, colorful mastery-type math program. My daughter likes it, and it doesn't take much time for us to do a lesson (20-30 min). I really like that all the manipulatives came with the kit to be punched out(except unifix cubes and a clock). The teacher's manual is wonderful - almost scripted (what you need to say/explain is in blue), and the lesson is laid out on 2 pages. Being visual, I really like the colorful looks of the teachers manual and the worktext. Also, review is built into each lesson, along with a separate review sheet (that we do the next day) which I appreciate. You definitely need the teachers manual - the student worksheet is just reinforcement of the lesson. I highly recommend this kit.
