Kit includes two DVDs, a practice CD, teacher's manual, two student workbooks, and two sets of craft materials---all in a sturdy carrying case. Ages 5 and up.

Note: Old packaging is still being used by the publisher that includes description and pictures of VHS cassettes on the box, but the box does contain only DVDs and CDs.

My family and I have enjoyed this kit very much, and we will be buying level 2. The box says it is for kindergarten & up, but my 4 yr old has learned some colors, numbers, and family members along with me & my 3rd grader. The system is great for elementary age & adults learning along with their children, but may be a bit slow for jr. high & high school. Pros * Progress @ your own pace * Everything necessary included in kit--you just decide which elements to use & when * A suggested schedule is included for optional use. * Reinforcement of prior lessons in progressing lessons * Crafts & worksheets included for optional use * CD useful for reinforcement in car * Though not overt, it is clear from some comments made that the teacher & his family are Christians. Nice to be able to show support to a Christian enterprise. Cons: * The only real con is that the first kit oddly doesn't include greetings (only telling/asking names), which is where most other foreign language classes begin. A bit strange to me.
