There are many resources, including the internet sites and addresses to write for free information about cats. Many different activities for all ages are included. Your unit on Cats and Kittens may take a month or it can be used in part for a wonderful week off from your regular studies. Choose among many great activities: poems, essays, book reports, posters, and research interviews. There is a field trip planned into the unit too, complete with interview questions and things to llok for at the pet store or breeder's place of business. Count the hours spent studying cats and give your student credit for doing this unit. Students may log anywhere from 1/4 credit to a whole credit of Animal Science using this book.
