Product Description

CalcuLadder consists of a carefully designed sequence of 96 one-page drills, divided into six one-year workbooks spanning 16 drills each. Although the workbooks are named CalcuLadder 1 through CalcuLadder 6, any workbook may be used as needed at any grade level along with any math curriculum.

Each wire-bound workbook has twelve copies of each of its 16 drills, for a total of 192 pages, printed on quality paper in a variety of rainbow colors. Your child repeats a given drill each day until he can complete it correctly within that drill's suggested time goal; then he advances to the next drill level. Time goals range from two to five minutes. Most kids can advance one level about every two weeks or ten tries.

Each workbook includes a clear, practical Instructor's Guide, clever QuicKeys ® to make grading a breeze, and a beautiful Achievement Record. Workbooks are reproducible.

The CalcuLadder 5 workbook includes 12 copies each of Levels 65-80 of the CalcuLadder drills. These drills have 5-minute time goals. After a long division review drill, CalcuLadder 5 thoroughly covers all aspects of fractions and mixed numbers, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as reciprocals, common denominators, improper fractions, and so on.
