This book is so great for beginner homeschoolers. It is jam packed with the author's favorite books and great advice. I believe for starting homeschooling you should read this book and take notes. Beyond Survival is also a easy read book. I have actually read this book in only a few days when it usually takes me weeks to finish or I pick up something else. This book covers topics such as creating a blueprint for your homeschool, the tools you need, the materials, surviving your first homeschool convention, learning styles, teaching styles, One-room schoolhouse, teaching art, and many other topics. I am sure if you purchase this book you will not be disappointed.
